Dauphin's Countryfest is proud to support The Dauphin's Lions Club, who earned approx. $5000.00 at Countryfest 2016 volunteering with beverage services. Proceeds earned at the festival help fund scholarships, school patrols, sports and youth programs as well as community projects.

Dauphin's Countryfest Presents Ridley Bent with Award

The 2011 BreakOut West Awards (Western Canadian Music Awards) were held in Whitehorse, Yukon on October 23rd, 2011. 

Countryfest President, Eric Irwin presented the award for Country Recording of the Year to Ridley Bent for his album Rabbit on my Wheel.  Ridley Bent has performed at Dauphin’s Countryfest multiple times over the years and has always been a crowd favourite and weekend highlight for many.

Countryfest Promoter receives prestigous recognition!

Dauphin’s Countryfest Promoter Rob Waloschuk has received the International Entertainment Buyer of the Year Award at the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Waloschuk, who has been working with Countryfest and managing the programming for 21 years, attended the 41st annual conference and was presented with the honour on Tuesday, October 4th.  Over 500 of the live entertainment industry's top decision makers converge in Nashville every year for the IEBA conference.  The International Entertainment Buyer Award is voted on by these ...more

CMT Hitlist Tour's Dean Brody wins big at 2011 CCMAs

Dean Brody, one of three artists on the CMT Hitlist Tour, led the Canadian Country Music Association Awards with three wins on Monday night at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, ON. Receiving top honours, Brody took home Album of the Year for Trail In Life, a category which included fellow nominees Johnny Reid, George Canyon, Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Aaron Lines. Dauphin's Countryfest nominated for a CCMA!

Dauphin's Countryfest is very honoured to once again be nominated by the Canadian Country Music Association for Country Fair, Festival or Exhibition of the Year!

This marks Countryfest's 6th time being nominated in the catergory.

A full list of nominees can be viewed at www.ccma.org.  The 2011 CCMAs will take place in Hamilton, Ontario from September 9 - 12, 2011.
