Dauphin's Countryfest is proud to support The Parkland Crisis Centre, who earned approximately $830 volunteering at the Main Gates during Countryfest 2016.
The Parkland Crisis Centre focuses on education, awareness and programming for women and children fleeing domestic violence.
Dauphin's Countryfest will be the subject of a one-hour documentary being shot for MTS TV, which will share the excitement and tradition of Canada's Longest Running Country Music Festival. The documentary is being produced by Dauphin's Howard Wirch and directed by Steve Langston of Dirty T-Shirt Productions.
"We look forward to connecting with the fans of Countryfest to find out why they love coming back year after year to Canada's Longest Running Country Music Festival," says Steve Langston, who grew up in Dauphin with the festival part of his community and life.
